Amethyst Ring
Labor of Love. 7 ct dark purple amethyst, emerald cut style. Just a beautiful stone. The basket setting was carved in green wax by hand.
This is a Brazilian natural citrine (not heat-treated). It is a gorgeous cut, a trillion of sorts, but deep and with many facets on the belly side. Its got a lot of sparkle. The setting and the ring are asymmetrical just like the stone. Its interesting that the camera focused on the bottom of the stone!
